A heavy duty leash system for extreme conditions where the leash is literally bolted into the structure of the boat by means of an easy connection to the footplate adjustment rails. The leash is suspended above the paddlers legs allowing for free rotation and leg drive as well as easy re-mounts from either side. The system attaches to the paddler with an easily integrated internal vest with a snapshackle for quick release
